Carers Connect!
Do you help someone with their daily living? Do they have a long term condition or disability? If you do then Carers Connect can support you.
We support people who are caring for someone in Lincolnshire. Carers Connect offer information and advice, emotional support, benefit checks, support groups and a discount scheme. Who looks after you? The carer’s assessment is a chance to think about what you need for your health and wellbeing and get some support. http://www.carersconnect.me/
Carers Connect aim is to ensure that information, advice, practical and emotional support is available to all carers across Lincolnshire. Our Education, Employment & Learning Scheme provides Carers with learning opportunities through the following training courses:
Supporting Parents & Carers in the Management of Behaviours. ADHD. Multiple Sclerosis Awareness. Stroke Awareness. Autism/Asperger’s Awareness. Dementia Awareness. Dementia Communication. Dementia Challenging Situations. Dementia Strange Behaviour. Moving & Handling. First Aid. Parkinson’s disease Awareness. Arthritis Awareness.
The Courses are offered free of charge and at venues throughout the County.

Lincolnshire’s Family Services Directory (FSD)
Lincolnshire’s Family Services Directory (FSD) is now the home of Lincolnshire’s Local Offer. The FSD provides everything you need to know about Education, Social Care, Health, information on parent support and activities for Children and Young People (0-25 with a Special Educational Need and/or Disability) and their families. If you want help finding services or help using the Local Offer call the Family Information Service on 0800 195 1635.
