During the competition, the team won two of their three league matches which meant that they qualified for the semi-final. In the semi-final, we played a tough St Thomas’ team and after normal time and extra time the score was still 0-0. So the match had to be decided by penalties – which unfortunately we lost. In the 3^rd v 4^th place match we ended up drawing 1-1 with Kirton and this meant we both shared the 3^rd place spot! The team should be very proud of their efforts, their teamwork and sporting attitudes. Well done everyone!
