As normal this tournament proved to be a nail biting experience for all involved. The girls won there first game 2-0 with a great all round performance and two smashing goals from Annabelle. The next game was a draw, again a great team effort to keep a clean sheet but the shots just didn’t hit the target. These results were enough to give them 1st place in their group and a place in the semi- final. Fantastic effort from all but it just didn’t seem to be happening then in the final minute a cracking strike from Rosie took us through to the final against St Thomas'. This match was end to end with the team giving everything, unfortunately we went 1-0 down to an own goal , but with heads held high it was soon evened up by a goal from Ruby. With full time done we were into golden goal, unfortunately the ball fell to St.Thomas' feet to make it 2-1 . Well done to the girls, 2nd place is an amazing achievement. The team have bonded together and worked for each other, we are very proud of them all.
